17 Miracle Matte Powders

Since my skin has turned oily I've had to change my foundation routine. I never use to worry about my foundation lasting till lunch time, where as now I'm reaching for my blotting sheets at lunch time.
So it's really important for me to set my foundation if I want it to last till mid afternoon. 17 have a great range called Matte Miracle, I've been using the Loose Powder and pressed Powder. I use the loose powder after my foundation and then carry the pressed powder with me to touch up mid afternoon.

The Miracle Matte Loose Powder* is great at setting my foundation and doesn't look cakey or sit in certain areas of my face. It's finely milled and helps to keep my skin shine free. The coverage is good and the price is even better £5.49 is great value. I use this over the top of my foundation and concealer and it still gives me a nice natural look, my skin still looks flawless and healthy. I like to have a little glow on the skin but this is often hard if you have oily skin because you want to matify the oily areas. I use this all over but concentrate on my t-zone where my skin is more oily. It claims to prolong your foundation and keep it shine free, I would agree with this for sure. However I do touch up my t-zone area around lunch time or mid afternoon with the pressed powder.

The Miracle Matte Pressed Powder* is a handbag must have. I reach for it during the day to help keep my t-zone shine free and flawless. I have the shade Silky Beige which is perfect for me. I have fair/medium skin tone which is more yellow toned than pink. The Pressed Powder costs £3.99 which is great value again. Depending on how oily your skin is this does claim to control shine for up to 16hrs. I would have to disagree and say this lasts probably 6-8 hours for myself, which is still really good. But remember everyone's skin is different so this may well last longer on your skin than mine.

You can purchase the 17 Miracle Matte range online or in store.

If you're looking for a new loose powder or a pressed powder and you have Combination/Oily skin I would really recommend you take a look at these. They are both really good value for money. In the Miracle Matte range there's also a Primer and Foundation, available in six shades.

Do you use a loose/pressed powder?
