KORRES \ Make Up Removal

Ive been a fan of the brand KORRES for some time now. So when I received their Jasmine eye-makeup remover and Pomegranate cleansing & make-up removing wipes I jumped for joy and couldn't wait to give them a try.
I must state straight away that I'm a big Bioderma convert. So when ever I try a new eye-makeup remover I always compare it against the Bioderma, which is my Holy Grail eye-makeup remover.

I've been using the Jasmine eye-makeup remover for a good 2 weeks now and to be honest I think you know after the first few days whether you like it or not. I was really surprised at how well it removed my eye-makeup. I place to cotton pads together and soak them both, next I place them over my eyes and leave them their for roughly a minute. I do gently pat/dab the area on top of the cotton pad. This step is crucial, that way the product can work it's magic (if it has any) to break down the eye makeup. Then with a gentle sweep it should bring it all off. Now apart from Bioderma I've not come across an eye-makeup remover which does this in one go, depending on what eye makeup I have on, it can take a couple goes. But the majority comes off in one go, with the Korres Jasmine eye-makeup remover it came off so easily with a couple goes and sometimes once depending on the mascara I had on. I think this could be one of my favourites, it's not going to beat Bioderma but not everyone can get hold of it. If you have sensitive eyes or the skin around your eyes is sensitive this would be a good one to try. It contains Jasmine extract which helps soothe the eye area and Cucumber extract which is very refreshing. It is a little on the pricey side but in my opinion it's worth it and 200ml will last you a nice time.

I found the KORRES Pomegranate wipes to be OK, nothing special to me if I'm honest. I know some people are big 'wipe' fans and I wish I was one of them but my skin just doesn't seem to like them. Don't get me wrong, if I was travelling somewhere or going on holiday I would take these and I would use them. But nothing beats washing your face, who's with me on that? I was interested to try these because they are aimed at Oily/Combination skin which suits me perfectly since my skin decided to change! I love the packaging, these stand out in my drawer and every so often if I'm feeling lazy I reach for them. However they're not a necessity for me or a staple in my skin care routine. The price is great and for £7.00 you get 25 wipes which again I think is good. You may think it's a little pricey but these are natural and they don't contain nasties like the other cheaper wipes contain.

You can purchase Korres Cleasnning products amongst their other ranges online from Bath&Unwind.
