Polka Dots, Lace & Makeup

I was meant to blog about this yesterday but had a busy day baking so this is going up a day later.
Yesterday I picked one of my new tops I bought with my Christmas money, this is such a pretty GIRLY top which deserves lots of photos so I'm going to share a few with you!



The material is very soft and silky to touch. Navy blue polka dots are placed all over and a beautiful panel of vintage mink lace at the top part of the top which carries on over the back.







For my makeup I used Clarins Skin Illusion foundation with a 1 pump of their new Instant Light Complexion perfector in the shade 02 Champagne Shimmer. Then I did my under eye concealer routine (blog post coming up tomorrow!). Filled in mu brows with my UD brow box. Then I tried a new eye shadow which is from the brand MUA Cosmetics. It's actually an eye dust in the shade 5 which is such a beautiful smokey deep plum. I applied their new eye primer first and then gently applied the eye dust using my Boots No7 Eyeshadow brush and gently packed the dust into my eye lid and softly into the crease. Next I used my Sigma E25 blending brush and smoked out the edges to give a soft smokey look. Next I applied New CID cosmetics i-gel in carbon along the top lash line, followed by Maybelline mascara. To finish off I applied a mosaic bronzer as my blush from MUA and then Mac MSF in Shimpagne on the cheek bones.
