Rodial Glamtox Night

Morning sweeties ♥ as mentioned in my last skincare post I have been using a night cream and to say I have been loving it would be an understatement.

£90 (30ml)

I was very lucky to receive a sample of Rodials Glamtox Night Cream I have been using this for a few weeks now and am starting to notice a difference so thought I would share with you my thoughts so far. Rodial recommend you use this for at least 8 weeks to see and feel the full benefits, so I will check back again in a few weeks to share with you my final thoughts.

The box contained a sachet of Glamtox SPF18 I enjoyed using this and loved the fact this can be used as your eye cream! I have however spied that Rodial have an eye product which claims to shift stubborn dark circles. Glamtox Eye Light SPF15 really appeals to myself, if you follow my blog then you'll know that from a young age I have always suffered from dark circles and this really bothers me. Over the years I have tried various eye treatments and cover ups to help but so far I am still left with my dark circles. Has anyone tried this? I would love to know your thoughts.

You're probably thinking why I would be using an Anti-Ageing cream but the thought of me turning the big 30 next year does make me think I want to make sure I am looking after my skin and I'm a firm believer in 'Prevention is always better than cure!' Whilst I don't have any deep set wrinkles I do havefine lines on my forehead which I have had for a while now and blame them on my frowning.
I also have large pores which have bothered me for some years now on my nose especially and also on my chin. I do have a tendency for dehydrated skin.

What Rodial say-

Glamtox night contains a gentle retinol which works to re-surface, thicken and plump the skin whilst reducing pore size. The skin will gain an energized and radiant glow come morning. glamtox night also works to strip away hyperpigmentation creating a light and bright skin tone.

Glamtox night is clinically proven to reduce the appearence of crows feet and deep set wrinkles, whilst norishing the surface of the skin. glamtox night is your 'must have' night treatment!

The product and packaging screams luxury, splendor, elite in my opinnion and actually reminds me a little of La Prairie which I have loved using in the past.

This is not like most creams you simply depress the top to release the product, just be cautious you don't release to much! The formula feels like silk and glides onto the skin, the scent is very pleasing and overall I can not find any fault with the cream. Whilst I haven't noticed my pores reduce in size just yet I have noticed the appearance of my skin improve and to be honest my fine lines on my forehead or not as noticeable. Or maybe I haven't been frowning as much ha ha!

Have you tried Glamtox? Or any products from Rodial?

Thanks for stopping by

  1. I have frown lines too (and i'm 23!) and also really big open pores so I will be interested to see if this helps them- keep us updated!

Although it seems expensive it looks great (would go SO well on my bathroom shelves!) and if the quality and smell is up to scratch it's definitely worth it!

  2. I want to ty the Glamtox Eye Light too - i have horrible dark circles, and like you i've had them from a young age. I've tried a ton of producs to no avail :( I use a lot of conceealer to 'hide' them (altho you can sill see them) but it always ends up creasing or looking cakey!! So yeah, I feel for you, i know what those damn circles are like :D

The only review i've seen is by Andrea at Beauty Blogging Blonde : http://beautybloggingblonde.blogspot.com/2011/02/rodial-glamtox-eye-light-my-thoughts.html

Just can't decide whether i can justify to £90 price tag! But then, if it works, i wouldn't care how much it cost!

  3. I've had quite a few sachets of 'Glamtox Night' and I love it - I must get a full-sized pot soon! It's pricey but I do like the results. I also want to try the 'Glamtox Eye Light' so I'm torn over which one to get! Great post :)
