APIVITA Skincare

Apivita is a Greek Skincare brand, one which I'm seeing more and more. You may have heard M&S now stock it which is fab news for us in the UK! I was kindly sent some of their range to review, it came beautifully packaged in this box adorned with bumble bees.

I've been using and loving their Lip Care lip balms, I have the Pink Rose one which is great for a rose fan like myself and the other one is the Chamomile which contains SPF15. I'm already half way through Pink Rose and will definitely be repurchasing. The packaging isn't great and feels very plastic but the product itself is good so I can overlook that. The Pink Rose smells like Turkish Delight and gives a very pretty soft pink sheen to the lips. Both of these are very moisturising, I like the printed packaging with the list of ingredients on the outer casing and then inside they've printed more info. I've been using the Chamomile one lots when I've been outdoors in the sun because of the SPF15.

Lip Care £5.00 each

Apivita have a great range of facial masks to meet lots of different skincare needs, they even have masks for the eye area which I love! They range from £3-£5 a pack, some are more on the pricey side but I'm a great believer in quality. The masks come as a duo so you do get 2 treatments out of them which is good going. The packaging is eye catching, you just want to try them all don't you? Have a look at them all here. I've tried the Express Beauty with Grape on the eye area and also the Express Gold with Prickly Pear.

Facial Masks £3.00-£5.00

The other Apivita products which I've been testing out, is the Aqua Vita 24HR Moisturisng Cream for Oily/Combination Skin and the Natural Serum for Hydration with aloe & hyaluronic acid. I have yet to try the Cleansing Gel but I will follow up my thoughts in a separate post. The Aqua Vita 24HR Moisturising Cream feels so cooling and refreshing on the skin, I really like the gel/cream texture. Whilst it feels very light on my skin it does feel like it's hydrating my skin without suffocating it if that makes sense? Since I've introduced Apivita into my skin care routine my oily/combination skin has calmed down a great deal. My foundation is lasting longer and I've not been reaching for blotting papers which is a lot to be said. I was using the Caudalie s.o.s serum which is now sadly all used up, my skin loved this and reacted in a good way! However when I searched through my stash I remembered I had the Apivita Hydration Serum to try and on further inspection, the Apivita Hydration Natural Serum is on a par with the Caudalie s.o.s serum! So my skin is still getting that extra boost of hydration, I've been using the Hydration Natural Serum for a good 2 weeks now and my skin looks just as good as it did when using the Caudalie. The texture is still very light and one benefit over the Caudalie would be the texture, thankfully this is not as watery as the Caudalie. Whilst it's still very light it's not as runny as the Caudalie. Apivita have a selection of natural serums to cater for different skincare needs. The serums are a little on the pricey side but for the quality of ingredients and the difference these can make on your skin I think they are worth it. It depends how much you take your skincare seriously I suppose. I've always known from a young age that skin care was important. I first started my routine at age of 15 and even then I used a very light eye cream, I just got into that routine and thankfully I am hitting 30 at the end of this year and so far I don't have any major wrinkles especially around the eye area. So a good routine does pay off. I don't think you need to invest in expensive skincare from a young age, but having a routine is good. Then when I hit my 20s I up'ed my game and started using more expensive skincare and now I'm in my late 20s soon to be in my 30s I have been introducing anti-ageing products.

Hydration Natural Serum £29.50 / Aqua Vita 24HR Moisturising Cream £25.00
