The Weekend Face #4

I dusted off my beloved Naked palette and have been loving it a lot lately, I love with the mix of matte and shimmer shades. To create my eye look I used Virgin all over the lid, Buck in the crease blended right out and then very softly applied Smog just in the outer corner to add more depth.

P.s. Loving my Miss Selfridge Necklace I picked up in the sale!

I just wanted to add my thoughts on the new Maybelline BB cream, I received 3 samples through the door earlier on in the week. Being a big BB fanatic that I am I love trying new BB creams. Sadly this did not impress me, the texture isn't great, it doesn't cover anything up and the finish is awful. I'm so glad I didn't waste my money on the full size. Has anyone else tried it? I would like to know if you thought otherwise? If you haven't tried it but fancy giving it a go you can get your free samples here. On a positive note I'm LOVING the Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait, you can see swatches here.

What's your Weekend Face?

  3. You look beautiful! That's a shame about the B.B cream, they can be a bit of a hit and miss, can't they? Xo

  4. So pretty hun! That No7 eyeshadow brush looks good! I've been using the No7 BB cream and quite like it, though I think the first ever bb cream I tried by Garnier is still the best!

    Love Aysh xoxo

  7. I love the Korres Monoi Oil Bronzing Powder.. I hit pan on mine a few weeks ago.. It's so natural looking and doesn't make me look dirty..

I've been reaching out for my mineral powder foundation.. I find that they work so much better for my skin during the humid hot summer days..
