Violent Lips

This is another fun post which I've been looking forward to sharing with you all. Violent Lips is a new brand which sells really funky Lip Tattoos in a range of patterns. If you're a Leopard print fanatic then you'll love the Leopard print design or whether you're a Glitter lover the Glitteratti Lips would be perfect for you. If you've not seen or heard of these super cool Lip Tattoos then keep looking and if you have still keeping looking as I have a few photos to share with you all!

I was very lucky to be asked if I would like to try Violent Lips and because I hadn't heard of them before I was really excited to learn more about the brand and their products! I tried the Glitteratti design at first and must say I did struggle and sadly didn't get the top lip on probably, however on my second attempt of trying the The Red Hearts design I cracked it. I thought the hearts looked super sweet, they look easy to apply but I think after trying a couple times you get the hang of them. Each pack contains 3 lip tattoos and also instructions, if you learn better watching someone then check out the video demo below which I have added for you guys.

How to Apply Violent Lips - Step By Step with Isabella

Once you have selected your design you take out the top lip first and line it up to your cupids bow so you can see how much you need to trim off. The best way to do this is by making a soft 'O' shape with your lips. Once you have trimmed the corners and maybe the underneath of the lip you then need to take off the plastic layer, then you place the design on top of your lip and make the gentle 'O' shape and soak a cotton wool ball in water. Basically it's like the old fashioned transfers you use to have as a kid, you place the soaked cotton ball over the lip tattoo and once the backing card is soaked it should slide off leaving you with your Violent Lip Tattoo! Use the wet cotton wool to seal the tattoo and tidy it up if need be. Then do the same with the bottom lip!

I must admit I was pleasantly surprise how well they lasted, I have dry lips and did feel like I wanted to keep licking my lips with them on. May if you applied a lip balm over the top that would solve that problem. I would love to know if you have seen or tried these and what you thought? i tested mine out when drinking and eating and they did not budge!

There are lots of designs which you can take your pick from, I like the look of the rainbow design! You can purchase your Violent Lips online or at Topshop, Boots and ASOS. They retail at £10 for 3 Lip Tattoos so just over £3 per lip Tattoo.
