Clarins Autumn Colour Definition Collection

Clarins recently released their Autumn collection called Colour Definition, the collection consists of a stunning 3D Radiance Face Powder, 6 eyeshadow Quartets, Instant eyeliner, Joli Rouge lipsticks in 2 new shades, Rouge Prodige lipsticks in 3 new shades and a new mascara which looks very interesting. I have some of the collection to show you and have even took photos to show you how the collection looks when used, so I hope you enjoy the post and please let me know which look is your favourite!

05 Violet

02 Nudes

04 Indigo
These beautiful Quartets can be used dry and wet, I've only tried these dry and found them to be a little powdery so had to be careful when using the darker shadows. I also found the light/white glittery shade to be a little powdery so found that patting this on the lid worked best. Overall I found them easy to work with and was very happy with how they looked on the eyes.
I really love how these gold compacts are stored away in a rich red velvet sleeve, this gives such a luxurious feel. All the Quartets are encased in the gold signature Clarins compact, the Quartets retail at £30 each.

Next up are the 3 new Rouge Prodige Lipsticks which feel amazing on the lips and surprisingly last a little while. I like the smell of these and found them to be buildable on the lips so if you want a soft subtle colour then one swipe and your done or if you want a more heavier shade then you can build up the colour for a more intense look. I don't actually have a favourite because they are all so pretty on the lips. The lipsticks retail at £17.

I teamed up each Quartet with a lipstick and created my own look, Clarins also has some great looks which you can use as a guide if you need a little helping hand.

Violet Quartet & Cream Toffee Lipstick

Nudes Quartet & Rosy Coral Lipstick

Indigo Quartet & Peach Sorbet Lipstick

I've saved the best till last! Colour Definition 3D radiance face Powder. Feast your eyes on this beautiful face powder, it took all my will power in the world to use this. As you can see it's so pretty, I used this over my skin after my foundation and my skin had a very subtle but pretty sheen. The compact comprises of beige and peach pixels which evens out the skin tone whilst the raised pink and lilac pixels add a fresh youthful glow. The stunning compact retails at £30.

Beauty at it's best!

So my lovely ladies will you be visiting your Clarins counter to check out the new collection?

  6. I love the look of the face powder! Such a cool design, it's a shame it has to be used really.
I would say that number 2 is my fave look, I am very into the natural look during the day and would definitely use those colours. Number 3 is my second fave for an evening look. The 'Violet' colours are something i would usually avoid but you have made them look stunning so I would consider them! x
