Topshop FOTD

Hello :) I hope you all had a super weekend and enjoyed the sunshine ♥
I wanted to share with you a FOTD I wore over the weekend, I wore this look on both days and loved how simple yet effective the look was.

 
I used one of Topshops Eyeshadow Crayons in Stardust softly on my eyelids and in the corners of the eye, this is very sparkly and pretty. I would say this would be great for concerts, partying makeup or for the festive season!

Next I used the Felt Pen Liner along the top lash line, the sponge tip is lovely and accurate soft and easy to apply. I did find though this does not have the staying power which I expected, has anyone else tried this? I would be interested to know your thoughts on it.


To finish off the eyes I used Topshops Kohl pencil in Slate along the lower lash line and softly smudged this to give a softer line. This seemed to last longer than the felt liner did, the Kohl was very soft and not at all scratchy.

For the lips I went for something subtle because of how intense the eyes are, I wanted the eyes to be the main focal point of the look. I'm really becoming fond of a matte lip, I find they last longer and give such a natural look to the lips without looking OTT. Topshop have these cute chubby Lip Stick pencils which are great for on the go. There's another shade called Thrilled which is described at Coral on the website, this looks stunning!
Enamoured is your ever popular Nude shade and would be great in most peoples collection, I find that a nude lip is a colour you can always fall back on it's classic and simple.
