Batiste Dry Shampoo & Denman Tangle Teaser

I have been wanting to see what all the fuss is about, with Batistes range of dry shampoos.

I opted for the coloured dry shampoo in Brunette and the NEW dry shampoo Nude which is powder form.

This took me a few applications to figure out what was best for me. You can apply this directly to the root or you can tap some powder into your hand and apply that way. For me I prefer applying the powder straight to the root. I would advise you be careful when doing it this way as you don't want to have an accident.
The smell is light and fresh and when applied to the root and massaged in, it feels very light on the hair not heavy nor does it feel like I have anything in my hair.

£3.49 150ml

I tried spraying my hand so you could see the colour it gives off. This is perfect for my hair and I agree it does not leave any residue and I couldn't believe how good the dry shampoo was. I have totally been missing out. This would've been perfect to carry in my hospital bag when I had my baby girl. Has anyone tried this particular one? On the Batiste site they have a huge range of different scents and finishes.

£2.95 150ml

This is the first time I have reviewed a hair brush and asoon as I opened up the package I jumped for joy! Well not literally but you get the picture right? Denman is a very prestigious brand and very popular for their great quality hair brushes. Here is their Tangle Tamer which is very gentle and aimed at children. Even though I do have a baby girl the bristles seemed a little too much for her baby scalp but would love to try their 'Baby pink D ring' brush. Has anyone tried either of these? I used this on myself and really like it! I do have a sensitive scalp so this suits me fine! The colour is even better, and totally stands out on any dressing table or handbag.

This is what Denman say-
The fast and gentle way to detangle children's hair without the tears! The super-soft nylon bristles gently glide through the hair, removing tats and tangles. An air-cushioned pad follows the contour of the head for smooth damage-free grooming. With a bright pink handle, this Denman hairbrush will be every little girl's favourite accessory!

After having a nosey on their site I saw they have a super cool fragranced range. Has anyone seen this? If not they seriously pop over and check them out! I want them all, what a suprise hey? ha ha. They have Strawberry Shortcake*currently sold out* Green Apple, Lemon Sherbet, Wild Dewberry & Coconut. These cost £7.16 and so worth it I think. I mean come on how cool is a fragranced hair brush?

Have you tried any of these? Would love to know your thoughts.

Thanks for stopping by :)

These products were sent to me by PR which in no way effects my opinion and is an honest review based on my personal experience. I was NOT paid for this review.

  1. I didn't realize baptiste had so many different kinds of dry shampoo. I tried their original one and didn't like the smell but maybe one of the others would be better.

  5. I absolutely ADORE Batiste dry shampoo, ive been using it for years now and I just cannot live without it. I recently tried Superdrugs own range of dry shampoo but it was terrible- very wet and just useless. Ive written about it here on my blog if you want to have a look: http://thewhatlauralovesblog.blogspot.com/2010/10/dry-shampoo-disaster.html Needless to say, I wouldnt recommend it. Batiste are def better so you've made a great choice. Im blonde so i just use the original one or the scented ones. 'Blush' is gorgeous.

  6. Hey Hon.

I have the original tangle teezer and I LOVE it. Whenever I grab a different brush now they hurt and pull LOADS of hairs out, but the tangle teezer is so gentle, doensn't pull- LOVE!

I ahve tried allt he batiste ones except the brown, and they have a brand new one out- called Fresh (blue can)- the smell is AMAZING!
Soo much better than any of the other fragrances.

I have the nude one too, but am not so keen, I think I prefer the spray!
