Favourite Hair Masques

I recently started using a hair masque once/twice a week depending on the condition. I currently have 4 which I depend on, and really like them all. I would struggle to pick one, I like them for all different reasons, plus they are all different from one another and offer different benefits. I have long hair and a lot of it. I've noticed in the last month or so the ends of my hair have started looking dry. So I've made a conscious effort to really hydrate my hair with a nice treat. I normally slather on the masque and then comb the masque through using my Macadamia Infused Comb, any wide toothed comb will work fine. Then I pop my hair up in a towel, normally a hair turban works best.

Macadamia Deep Repair Masque.
This is a popular masque which has been mentioned many times by beauty bloggers so I'm sure you've heard of the brand. I've tried a few products from the range, however the Deep Repair Masque and Leave-In Cream are my favourites from the range. This is the best smelling masque out of this pick, it smells fruity and fresh and good enough to eat! Macadamia Oil & Argan Oils combine together with Tee Tree Oil, Chamomile Oil, Aloe and Algae extract. All these ingredients combined work to help nourish and repair dry damaged hair.

Toni&Guy Reconstruction Mask
This smells lovely and reminds me of a salon, it does exactly what it says on the tub! Sometimes it's nice to have a hair masque which you know will give your hair a nice pick me up. You only need to leave it on for 3-5mins, so you could use this instead of your conditioner.

Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment
This a treatment for the hair and the scalp! If you suffer from a dry itchy scalp this would be a great treatment to try. If my scalp is feeling dry/itchy I always use this as an overnight treatment. I recently reviewed this product, you can read my full review here.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer
This is actually a pre-shampoo treatment which took a little getting use to, but I've got this weighed off now. It claims to add elasticity, manageability, bounce and shine. Well my hair literally feels like silk after using this treatment. It comes at a price though, £22.30 150ml.
If your hair is broken or breaking this would be a great treatment.

Have you tried any of these hair masques?

    1. Ha ha, if I had to pick I would struggle! I suppose you need to think what do you want to achieve? Soft silky hair? Hydrated hair? Even though they all hydrate they do make my hair feel different, in a good way. You can buy a little Macadamia sachet which could be worth a try and not too pricey? x

  8. I haven't tried any of these but I've had my eye on the PK Elasticizer for a short while. I've been using his Preen Cream which I like. So this will probably be the next PK thing I get. It sounds fab from your comments on it.

    Thanks for the review xx

  9. I haven't actually heard of the Macademia brand and would love to try this mask... the combination of oils sounds amazing! Philip Kingsley is a brand I have recently started trying so may have to add this pre-treatment to my wish list..I am currently using 3 more inches which I'm a bit dubious about!

    Great review!
