Get Sky High Beauty With Revlon

Revlon where the original brand behind the Pan Am beauty look in the sixties, they revealed that warm pink lips matched perfectly with manicured fingertips where the order of the day for the very glamorous air hostesses.  I'm not sure about you but when I think an air hostess I think glamorous, pristine, perfection and class! With Revlon founder Charles Revson, a firm fixture on the Pan Am board beauty standards where kept to the highest standards to give the best possible image to their customers and peers. The BBC have a new series starting next Wednesday 16th called Pan Am, US series set in the 1960's centred around Pan America world airways. So be sure to give it a go, I'm looking forward to it.

OK whilst I'm not a glamorous air hostess I thought I would have a go and create a glamorous yet freshly polished face, I used the following products to create my PAN AM look.

Revlon PhotoReady Powder 010 Fair/ Revlon PhotoReady Concealer 03 Medium/ Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen Black/ Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Pink Afternoon/ Revlon CustomEyes Naturally Glamorous & Rich Temptations.

The CustomEyes shadow & liner palettes are really eye catching especially the way the eye shadows have been embossed, the print reminds me of a knitted jumper. You have 4 eye shadows and 1 powder eyeliner, I used the Naturally Glamourous palette to create my look below but can't wait to try Rich Temptations. The palettes are both really good value for money only costing £7.99 each, I just love their sleek slim line packaging which is perfect for travelling. They do come with a sponge tipped applicator but I've not tried that yet but may give it a go next time, also if you don't feel confident where to place the shadows Revlon have added a 5 step visual on the back helping you which is great!

I really enjoyed using all the products above to create my look and surprised myself when it came to using the pressed powder, I don't use a pressed powder because I do have a tendency of having dry flaky skin. However I've been using this daily and love sweeping this lightly over the face to seal my foundation and concealer. The concealer is fabulous and if you have any dark circles or brown spots which you need to cover up I would highly recommend this. I love the creamy formula and the fact it comes in a stick form is brill you can apply it straight under your eye and blend and hey presto you're good to go.
Apologies for my weird pointy eyebrow, not sure what went on that day ha ha!

I love the use of colours used in this makeup look, it looks fresh and youthful. This would be so easy to re-create for daily use, plus you can always add more depth to the eyes by blending and smoking the eyes out more and maybe using a clear gloss over the lips.

Just to give you lovelies the heads up, Boots currently have 3 for 2 on Revlon products so if you guys were thinking about it I would pop in and pick up one of the CustomEyes palette, the concealer and then you could get another product *cheapest one free. I would say pick up the lipstick, a beautiful pink shade which really brings out the colour of your eyes.

What do you think of my Pan-Am look?
