Nubar Nail Lacquer

I have been embracing painted nails lots lately especially now my nails have started to grow and of course I want to make the most of them. As you all know I'm a huge cream finish fan when it comes to polishes but have found myself swaying lately to the metallic and duo chrome finishes. Nubar is a new brand to myself I've never tried their polishes but was very excited to try a couple of their Duo Chrome polishes. These shades will be very bang on trend this Autumn/Winter.

Wildlife is a beautiful green gold shade which captures such a pretty blend of hues in the light, the lacquer is described as Olive with duo chrome effect. I loved wearing this shade and can myself wearing this lots through the autumn, I used 2 coats to create the duo chrome effect.

Look at the beautiful hues in this polish!

Iris Dust is a beautiful deep burgundy shade which is described as a vivid magenta shade with underlying dark emerald tones which resembles petrol. I love this shade on my toes as well I did find I needed to apply 3 coats to get a true duo chrome finish. Both of these polishes are hard wearing and lasted a nice few days which is good for me seeings I'm a busy mummy. Overall I recommend you try the duo chromes if you like the look of the finishes, if not check out the other finishes such as creme, metallic and glitters. The glitters look very pretty for the festive season. I like the look of Lavender and think Lavender Shimmer would look stunning over the top! I have seen some stunning swatches of Nubars 2010 limited edition polish which I also love the look of ha ha!

I like the shape of the cap, my hand fits snuggly around this when painting which is good when you're trying to concentrate and paint your nails nicely. The bottles are both very generous in size 15ml and retail £8.00 from the Beauty Shed. Nubar polishes are eco-friendly and free from any nasties so you know what you're putting on your nails is safe and fine.

Since learning more about Nubar as a brand I saw their range of treatments and must say they look and sound very pleasing. They have a selection of cuticle oils such as vanilla, sweet almond, cucumber, grapefruit and passion fruit which is my favourite. I also spotted some lovely skin lotions and a foot butter which is amazing chocolate and coffee beans, 2 of my favourite indulgence's in life!
Thanks for reading, have you tried Nubar Nail Lacquers?
