Clarins Spring Makeup

Spring is upon us and I have enjoyed changing my makeup look to suit the season, I love wearing pinks and peaches on the face it makes me feel and look so healthy even if I may not feel it at times!

Clarins have recently launched a new foundation called Skin Illusion Natural Radiance Foundation SPF10

Clarins say-
For an incredibly natural complexion. A hydrating foundation with a texture that feels as refreshing as a spritz of spring water. A formula which smoothes, evens and enhances the complexion, and delivers a spectacular "barely there" finish
At the heart of the formula are mineral and plant extracts chosen for their sheerness and affinity with the skin. The result: an incredibly beautiful, radiant and even complexion with a translucent finish that leaves skin feeling moisturized and super-comfortable.

£24 (30ml)

The packaging is clean and simple which has a hint of luxury, I love the little imprint design on the lid with the little 'C' inital.
There are 10 shades to pick from, I highly recommend you pop to your nearest Clarins counter to find our perfect shade. The smell is very fresh and pleasing, the texture is very light and easy to use. I used my flat top powder brush to apply this and found it gave me a lovely air brushed finish. This foundation is now my must have foundation to give me that instant radiance and natural look without looking like I have a ton of makeup on. The ingredients sound like magic especially Pink opal powder which gives your skin the perfect radiance. The formulation is creamy and light yet very deceiving as it feels as if there is nothing on the skin yet it somehow helps even out my skin tone taking away any redness.
Have you tried Clarins new Skin Illusion? If not I suggest you pop along to your nearest counter and try it out!

Clarins New Spring Collection Neo Pastels is quite a collection to say the least, stunning lipstick shades and finishes, beautiful blushes and a very impressive eye palette which is Limited Edition.

Joli Rouge Brilliant Shine Sheer Lipstick

Clarins say-
High shine enhanced by long-hold, crystal colours, a luxurious texture and genuine lip care benefits that protect and beautify lips all day.
Delivers sheer colour and silky-smooth shine. Deeply moisturizing and long-wearing for softer, more comfortable lips.

♥ Litchee ♥
£15.82

Sheer lipsticks aren't normally a finish I would go for but to be honest this lipstick does have more colour than I would've anticipated. The texture is soft and creamy, glides on the lips and feels great on. My lips feel like they have lip balm on which is great, they don't feel dry thanks to the mango butter. One factor which I always consider when picking a lipstick is the scent, there's nothing more off putting than a terrible cheap plastic smell. However as you would expect this lipstick smells lush! Litchee is a beautiful natural pink shade with delicate gold specks which glisten on the lips. There are more shades available and they too look dazzling I can see these being ever so popular. There isn't a lipstick which is like this on the market that I know of so I would snap a couple up if I was you! Melon & Sorbet look like beauties ♥

Blush Prodige Illuminating Cheek Colour

Clarins say-
Silky to the touch and extremely light and comfortable, the texture delivers luminous, long-lasting, customized colour to suit every taste, for an even, natural-looking make-up result.
Six elegant compacts each containing 2 complementary shades of cheek colour; a matte shade which scuplts and an iridescent shade which highlights.

♥ Miami Pink ♥
£24
As you know blush is a must for me, it gives me that instant colour which I adore. Blusher has to be in my top 3 makeup items, Mascara being the 1st then concealer followed by blusher. Prodige Illuminating blush hits all the right spots with me, a beautiful shade, soft texture, great pigmentation and very easy to work with. There are 6 shades to choose from and it's hard to decide as they all look so pretty! Miami Pink is a true pink which for me screams springtime, the blush is very clever consisting of a matte shade and an iridescent shade. You can use these separately if wanted but I found the blush is beautiful when you swirl your brush all over the compact. The colour lasts all day and looks just as fresh and iridescent as it did when first applied. The compact is very alluring and certainly gives that lavish feel with the soft velour pouch. The compact has the 'C' imprint which is such a nice little touch, a brush is included with the compact which is great to use if you're on the go.

The blusher and lipstick work really well together and give such a pretty Spring look, these items will be very much used in my collection. My favourite colour combos are either pinks or peaches/corals for the spring and summer.

Have you tried anything from the New Neo Pastels Spring Collection? What do you fancy the look of?

Thanks for stopping by ♥

These items where sent to me by PR which in no way affects my opinion, this is a true and honest review based on my own personal thoughts and feelings.

  1. Those look nice, I'm not convinced Clarins products are worht the cost though. I always feel like they don't measure up to other high end products.
