Boots Smooth Skin by iPulse

Summer is fast approaching us and so soon we will all be pruning and preening ourselves. So when I was asked if I would like to try a permanent hair removal system I jumped at the chance! I'm a total whimp it it comes to hair removal and waxing is a no no, I remember going for a bikini wax and when the therapist applied the wax and then the strip I kept flinching and wouldn't let her pull it off! So funny it took me all the will power in the world to let her pull it off. Other than waxing I have used Veet for a few years on and off but mainly shave. I have always said that having hair in unwanted places is such a pain and wish that it would go away, well now fingers crossed it will!

Think about how much you spend on hair removal each year and the ongoing costs year after year, whereas you would be much better off investing in the Boots Smooth Skin hair removal system enjoying this in the comfort of your own home. You need to use the system for 6-12 weeks to complete the treatment and therefore hopefully achieve permanent hair reduction.

Boots say-
Boots Smooth Skin gives permanent hair reduction in just 6-12 weeks, it is an easy to use hair removal solution at home. For use on body and face, it is great value when compared with everyday and salon hair removal

I must admit I was a little scared at first especially when I read the handbook and read all the important information. However I have braved it and started my treatment earlier on in the week.
The system is really neat and quite compact comparing to the size of the machines you would find at a salon. I like how the system is stored, neat and tidy in a cream vanity case with a thick sturdy handle. The unit is simple and easy to use, once you have connected the handset to the main unit and plugged in you are ready to go. Turn on and once the unit is ready the light pops on Standby, you need to select your skin tone Dark/Med/Fair.

You need to do a patch test first to make sure you don't react to the system.Once the unit is ready apply some of the Activitor gel to the area and then placing the head of the handset on the skin you need to make sure the four pins touch the skin and then a red light pops on the handset. I was really hesitant so my hubby helped and did the zapping! Once you press the button a bright light flashed and then it was all over, pain free and simple. I waited the 48hrs to make sure there was no reaction, luckily everything was fine.

Ok now onto the cost which I know by now you are all wanting to know this is an investement don't forget which you can use at your own time. The system costs £331.90 BUT is on offer for £281.90. So you do the Maths because we all go to the salon for different waxing needs just mutiply how you much you use over the year and think this is at home always!

I will take photos showing you my progress using the system, if any of you have any questions then please leave a comment and I will answer as best I can.

Has anyone tried this? What are your thoughts?

  2. Ooh, I won this from Lily Loves Lola last year and it's AMAZING! It really works but I need to start again real soon in time for summer! It makes fake tanning easier too as there are no open pores on your legs etc.
