Spring Treats/ Of the edible kind...

Believe it or not but were actually in Spring. Anyhoo I've not let it stop me from bringing out the pastels. I love to use pastels through the Spring. The same goes for clothing, I normally chose brighter and lighter clothes. As for makeup I like a fresh dewy base with soft pastel/nude shades on the eyes. Recently I've been known to opt for a pop of colour on the lips! I've even made the switch to pastels on my nails, my new favourite colour is coral. A nice shade to brighten up this dull cold weather.

I currently have Lavender Lies on my nails from the Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish collection, first impressions good so far. Will just have to see how well it lasts, the shade is gorgeous. A rich creamy lavender shade.

This is a different kind of post today, something different from anything I've tried before. Which is actually nice and refreshing. My favourite snacks at the moment are these Rice & Corn Cakes from Kallo. Especially the Blueberry & Vanilla flavour. You can look stylish and eat stylish, they're the perfect springtime treat what with the pastel hues. I love these not only because I've watch my calorie intake but also because they're suitable for vegetarians. I recently made the change about 6wks ago and haven't struggled one bit. I love to eat fruit & vegetables so the change has been an easy one. These snacks are great picnics and for the kids, or a perfect afternoon pick me up at your desk. If you want to add more indulgence to them, chocolate spread and a pile of strawberries on top tastes divine. You just need to grab a pile of your favourite magazines and your newly painted pastel nails and your good to eat.
Available to buy from Thttp://www.saykallo.com/products/rice-cakesesco stores nationwide for £1.79.

Easter Treats...

I wanted to share a cute little last minute Easter Treat with you, have you seen the super sweet Easter gifts from Lush? The re-useable knot wrap is super cute, love the bunny ears. I intend on using my bunny wrap to store my Lush goodies in future. A great way of keeping them safe and dry.

The Hoppy Easter bunny is back and full of Easter love and contains two pampering treats inside, the Fluffy Egg (inedible) of course folks! And of course this year sees the return of the popular Carrot Bubble Bar. A re-useable bubble bar, just swish the carrot under running water by it's grassy hair and soon it will be full of sparkling bubbles. I'm really liking the Lush re-useable bubble bars, my most favourite one has to be Bubblebeard. This is sadly not available anymore, boo hoo! Fingers and toes firmly crossed it will make a come back for the festive Christmas period.

Have you seen the Easter Treats they have from Lush? What do you think of the re-useable bubble bars?

Have a happy chocolatey Easter from myself and Mr. Blue Kinder Bunny!

Clinique / Chubby Stick For the Eyes...

I'm sure we all have brief moments in your makeup where we become a little lazy and just want something which is quick but still effective. If like me you're against the clock each morning to get ready before your 2yr old and 5yr old wake then listen up, you need to invest in the new Clinique Chubby Sticks for the Eyes!
If you remember the launch of their fabulous chubby sticks for the lips they've gone one better this time and released a version for the eyes. I have been using these everyday and think they're great, perfect for travelling in your makeup bag. You don't need any makeup brushes when you using these, I use my fingertips to soften the edge, making them perfect for on the go.
Clinique launched 12 shades ranging from soft nudes to deep plums, navy and charcoal. I have Ample Amber, a golden metallic amber shade which compliments all eye colours, this shade also works great as a base for a natural look. If I want to wear soft natural makeup I reach for this. For days when I want a change and something darker I have opted for Mighty Moss, a gorgeous sage green which in turn looks gorgeous on all eye colours I imagine.

The chubby sticks for the eyes are so quick and easy to use, you don't need to be a makeup artist. I know my mum would use these and she is petrified of makeup. They add a nice wash of colour without looking heavy or caked on. No need for sharpners, you twist twist the base to reveal more product.

Have you tried the new Chubby Tints for the eyes?

What's On My Nails? #1

KIKO shade (419)

The first of a little series, What's on my nails? I love to see what everyone is wearing this time of year on their nails. So I'm kicking this post off with a striking creamy coral shade from KIKO. It's not as peachy as the photos are showing, it's a rich coral shade which looks bright and cheerful on the fingers.

I opted for this shade to help brighten up this terrible weather, it's meant to be spring! Anyway if spring is late in coming then I can enjoy a little colour on my nails in the mean time. Sadly the polish doesn't have a name but if I could name it I would name it- Fruity Coral or Coral Sunset.
I love the forumaltion, a pleasure to use, I went for two coats for a nice even finish but to honest depending how thickly you apply your polish you could get away with one coat. This would look amazing with a tan and would look just as fab on the toes! I'm keen to try more of the KIKO cream finished polishes, they cost a very price friendly £3.90.

To help my nails grow I've been re-using the ORLY Nailtrition which helps with peeling spilitting nails. With the help of my favourite nail treatment and probably one of the cheapest on the block, Superdrug Cuticle Oil Pen. I don't have a bad word to say about this, I love the packaging, the brush pen is perfect and the lid has a slanted edge to help push back the cuticles gently. The smell of the oil is gorgeous and the price is even better! This is one you all need to add to the top of your wish lists!

What colours are you brightening up your hands with?

John Frieda / Luxurious Volume Review

Long hair for me certainly has it's Pros and Cons, a big Pro is when you're in a rush you can easily style your hair. Plaits, Pony tails and top knots are all quick effective hair cuts which aren't time consuming. However onto a Con is maintenance, I am still learning and testing different hair products out to find what suits my hair. I was recently sent some of the new and improved John Frieda Luxurious Volume* range to try. I like the vibrant turquoise packaging, it's nice and bright and reminds me of Summer. The Luxurious Volume range contains volume boosting properties paired with lightweight conditioning benefits, giving hair a full bodied finish that lasts.

The Touchably Full shampoo and conditioner both smell fresh and feel lightweight in the hair. The shampoo lathers up well and is a breeze to use. No effort needed, I know that sounds silly but some shampoos are such an effort to massage through the hair that you end up using half a bottle just to feel like you've washed your hair. My hair felt refreshed and squeaky clean after using the shampoo without feeling weighed down. My hair is quite thick and because of the range being aimed towards finer hair I did have slight reservations it may feel thick or heavy in my hair but it had the opposite effect and felt very lightweight and helped add a little extra volume. So if you have thick hair don't dismiss the range. The conditioner is thick and creamy which I like and feel great once massaged into the ends. It rinsed out well and left my hair silky soft and tangle free.

The stand out product from the range is the Volume Refresh Dry Shampoo, it doesn't leave any remnants of white powder which is always a key factor if you're brunette! It smells fresh, it works and doesn't leave hair feeling thick or itchy. A winner from the range,

The next two products are both treatments working to add even more volume to the hair, the Fine to Full Blow-Out Spray could be comparable to sea salt/texturising sprays. Great if you have fine flat hair which lacks any volume, a few sprays of this from root to tip will add some volume as that of a blow-dry from a salon. Even with my thicker hair I still noticed volume in the mid-length sections. use a hair dryer to recreate even more volume which will last longer.
The Blow-Dry Lotion Root Booster is used on towel dried hair right at the root for optimum crown lift, whereas the Blow-Out Spray is used to create volume all over. If you struggle to get lift right at the root which lasts you NEED this.
Are you looking for a little va va voom for your hair? Could this be the range for you?

Travel Essentials I wouldn't be without...

I have a couple trips away booked for this year so in my mind I've already started to make a mental list of products and items which I NEED. Depending on how you're travelling and how you like to spend your time travelling this is entirely down to personal choice and comforts. What I haven't added yet are the refreshments, I always need refreshments when travelling.

My first must have item is my Kindle, I will be packing this for sure. I'm currently reading Life of Pi but will probably finish this before I venture on my first destination, so if anyone has any recommendations for a good read please comment below!

My second must have item for travelling is a ball of wool and a crochet hook, I am a crochet addict! Yes you may laugh and think move over granny. OK... I am 30 but shhh less of the old! I'll have you know Crochet/knitting is very 'IN' right now! *Chuckles*
These are my comforting items which I like to indulge in with refreshments on hand of course, this helps the boring travelling time more enjoyable.

Onto the products! This is the hardest part, picking the smallest amount of products and trying not to duplicate. The items I have picked are not extensive, this is what I'll be taking with me for a weekend away. Of course a sun holiday will need sun protection and more body creams/lotions.

For cleansers I kept it simple but nice, I'm just getting into 2-phase eye makeup removers. Clinique Take The Day Off is great at removing eye makeup as well as stubborn lipsticks. This handy little travel size bottle came free with their bonus time. So keep a look out for GWP with your favourite brands. I always keep travel sizes in a separate wash bag. That way if you're off on your travels you'll be able to rummage through your stash and pick some items out which wont weigh you down.
I wanted to take a cleansing balm with me, when you travel you can feel sluggish and your skin can feel dirty and even dry. I've been testing out the new Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm and it's a winner. I am still yet to try the Emma Hardie version, they both seem very similar after comparing written reviews. The Elemis Pro-Collagen range is fabulous, I've been lucky enough to try a few products from the range and I can highly recommend them. I take a pea-size amount in my palm and melt the balm together, then gently massage all over the face and remove using a Washi Cloth. I bought a pack of these last year and love them, especially for removing facial masks. They look like a flannel but they're softer. A mix between a muslin cloth and a flannel.
The next step is a must for me when travelling and that's a facial mist. I chose the Green People Cooling Hydrating Mist, partly because it's for the face and body but also it's packed full of hydrating properties. A mist is essential when travelling, it can help revitalise you if you're feeling sluggish and tiered. But it can also hydrate the skin and cool you down. I particularly like this one because of the scent, orange blossom, rose water and marshmallow.Ummmmm...
As for day creams I picked something which doubled up as a sunscreen and moisturiser and also a tint of colour. So actually this is a 3-in-1 product and that's the Origins VitaZing SPF15. If you're travelling overnight and you'll be removing makeup and want to look a alive the following morning this is great. Another favourite of mine is ThisWorks Miracle Skin, this works in the same way minus the sunscreen.

As for the body I kept it simple, Liz Earle Orange Body Wash smells amazing! It's an uplifting scent which is great for travelling or when you're on the go. To accompany this I also picked the hand wash, depending on where you're travelling and how you're going to get to your final destination I think a mini hand wash/hand sanitiser is great to carry around with you.
For hair I chose the Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo & Conditioner, these are the perfect for travelling. In Boots and Superdrug they have lots of travel friendly hair care products. If you need to freshen up your hair my favourite dry shampoo is from the new John Frieda range Luxurious Volume. I have reached for this lots since it landed in my hands. It doesn't leave any white powder residue in/on your hair.It smells fresh and is a pleasure to use.

I suffer from terrible dry cracked lips and sadly my 5yr old does to, we've both been testing out the Weleda Calendula Weather Protection Cream. This is like an oily balm and sinks in the skin giving instant relief and comfort whilst adding a protective barrier against the environment. A must have in the colder weather right now! You only need a small amount, it's great to use on ALL the family. The packaging is perfect and fits nicely in a bag, it doubles up as a hand cream but could be a little greasy on the palms so keep it the backs of hands to prevent greasy paws.

My newest revelation is ThisWorks Deep Sleep Pillow Spray, OhMyGawd! This has changed my life, seriously. Being a stress head that I am, I often find it hard to unwind and relax into a nice peaceful sleep. The scent alone is relaxing, the mix of Lavender, Patchouli, Vetivert and Chamomile essential oils make this a truly relaxing treatment which I can not recommend enough. If you struggle to relax before bed time, pop a couple sprays on your pillow case and when you're getting ready for bed you soon start to unwind and before you know it you'll be in the land of nod! Thankfully two sprays of this and I'm gone.............................................

Summer Series / Cream Blushers #2

Despite this awful weather I've still made the switch over from powder to cream blush, I still use powder through the spring/summer but tend to opt for a cream version. I pick and chose from this selection, I have a couple more but these are my top picks.  Looking at the photo above you can see I have 3 different colour types. Pink/purple (1. Revolution Blushed and 2. Illamasqua Laid) then peach/coral shades (3. Liz Earle Nectar, 4. Topshop Neon Rose and 5. Gosh Peachy Rush) and then finally natural/nude shades ( 6. Stila Peony and 7. Topshop Nutmeg)

For days when I want a minimal makeup look I normally opt for Topshop Nutmeg or Stila Peony. The formulation of them both are opposites, the Topshop cream blushes are cream to powder whereas I find the Stila one is a little more on the creamier side but still easy to apply and blend. I really want to try more of the Stila Convertible shades. They also work great on the lips! Looking at the swatches I think Peony would make a great contour shade for my skin tone, I will investigate this further and get back to you on that revelation!

When I want a pop of colour this is when I struggle deicing between pink or coral, this usually all depends on the eyes or lips. Illamasqua Laid is stunning bright rosey pink shade which gives a healthy dewy finish. I only have one stick cream blush from the brand Revolution, it also doubles up as a lip product, very similar to the Stila Convertibles. These multi-task products are great to take on holiday or keep in your travel makeup bag. The most smallest compact blush out of the bunch is the Liz Earle healthy glow blush, perfect for keeping in your handbag or travel makeup bag. Very pigmented and easy to blend, I'm keen to try more shades. They have matching powder versions which is a great idea.
Cream or powder? Have you made the switch over???

Summer Series / Body Prepping #1

OK I know the title of this post will probably make you laugh right now, but hear me out! I know the thought of warmer weather is a long shot right now but one thing which I know is very typical of British weather is how unpredictable it can be! It totally caught me out last year, one day I remember wearing demin shorts and a vest, the next day I wore jeans and a jumper. Don't you just love Britain? Anyway this year I don't want to be caught out, so I've updated my current body care routine which lets face it probably only consisted of a body cream and treatment oil previously.
I am now using the products mentioned below, not necessarily altogether but I shall explain a little more...

OK I start off using a good body scrub, the one I'm currently using it the Organic Surge Million Dollar Brown Sugar Scrub. It looks good enough to eat, it smells lovely but hasn't topped the scrummy S&G  Breakfast Scrub on the scent factor. I use the scrub all over paying extra attention to my legs, thighs and the backs of my arms. The oils from the sugar scrub linger on the skin, making the next step optional. After using this type of sugar scrub my skin feels so soft and supple and looks radiant. If I'm not using self tan I normally find my skin is hydrated enough and will skip this next step, but for days when I AM using self tan I rely on some extra moisture...
This is the Caudalie Divine Oil, I have mentioned this many a times on my blog. It smells amazing, it feels amazing on the skin and it comes in a spray! Yes a body in with spray- genius right?  Plus it can be used all over the body. I normally spritz a few sprays on drier areas and always a spray on the arms because I love smelling of this!

I'm no spring chicken and not forgetting I've been blessed with two beautiful healthy children, my body isn't what it use to be. I know we probably all have at least one problem area on our body which we would like to improve. This happens to be my thighs, I have stretch marks and cellulite YEP! A double whammy! So the key product in my updated body prepping routine is the Murad Firm and Tone Serum* 200ml/£63. I have been using this for a few weeks now and can honestly say I'm noticing a difference. It may be small BUT it is definitely an improvement. I use this solely on my thighs being my worst problem area. I love to wear shorts in the summer and will hopefully be wearing a playsuit or two this summer. So by introducing this treatment now, I am hoping by the time the warmer weather visits us my skin will overall look and fell better. Therefore I'm hoping I will feel more confident having my thighs on show. These types of products don't just magic overnight, you have to remember to use them to see the changes. The formulation is a gel which sinks right into the skin, the scent is pleasing and actually reminds me of the summer in a weird way.

The product improves the overall appearance of skin up to 80%* by:
  • Increasing skin firmness and elasticity while masking imperfections
  • Reducing the appearance of cellulite by up to 69%*
All I can say is I'm using it and I'm seeing results.

So after using the body scrub, body oil and treatment product (optional ) I then opt for a self tan or gradual tanner. Now I'm sure you were all Johnson & Johnson's Holiday Glow fans but thankfully times have changed and there are heaps of gradual tanners on the market which actual smell nice. My favourite high street version is the Palmers Gradual Tanning Moisturiser. Boy does this one work, so much so I still forget to wash my hands after each use and end up with tanning marks! I love the smell, I love the pump, I love the rich formulation, I just love everything about this and have repurchased this many times. However if I'm after a deeper tan I reach for the Xen Tan Deep Bronze Luxe, it smells of sweet vanilla and does the job perfectly. You go to bed smelling of cupcakes and you wake up looking like you've been on a Caribbean cruise. If only hey?

Finally just a little extra, Weleda Skin Food is amazing for dry areas. If my knees or elbows are exceptionally dry or scaly I always pop a little bit of this on first and massage well before self-tan application. I'm wishing for warmer weather, what are you wishing for?

Spring Time Scents

Spring is finally here, we'll soon be enjoying lighter evenings and being woken by sunlight! Hooray!
Following on from my previous post, Prettying Your Dressing Table. I've already made the change regarding perfumes. I love strong scents all year round but during Spring/Summer time I tend to save the stronger scents for the evenings or special gatherings.
I've picked my favourite Spring scents and wanted to show you what I've been reaching for recently.
One of my favourite Summer scents is a limited edition from Escada but didn't want to feature a scent which is no longer available. Don't you hate it when this happens?

I'd like to start with my newest love and that is Reem Acra*, the bottle is both decadent and chic. The beautiful gold floral detailing with signature doves, makes this bottle truly admiring. A popular scent amongst the celebrities so it comes as no surprise this perfume is exclusive to Harrods over here in the UK.
The perfume was designed by fashion designer Reem Acra, famous for producing stunning bridal gowns, but also equally beautiful dresses for the red carpet celebrities.
The mix of notes is sophisticated and alluring, a scent which I find myself wanting more. So I've been indulging in numerous top ups during the day! Top Notes consisting of pear, orange blossom and bergamot. Middle Notes- ginger, lily of the valley, jasmine and peony with Base Notes- amber, cedar, patchouli and musk.

Other favourites to make it into this post are, Marc Jacob Daisy Eau So Fresh*. This bottle definitely wins prettiest perfume bottle. Thankfully the perfume itself is equally beautiful, this would be the perfect bridal scent in my opinion. It's surprisingly long-lasting, which is rare with floral scents I find. Fruity Top Notes- Grapefruit, Raspberry, Green Leaves and Pear. With floral Middle Notes such as- Violet, Wild Rose, Apple Blossom and Jasmine Petals. Ending with warm Base Notes- Plum, Musk and Cedarwood.

Following in similar foot steps is Yardley Daisy*. Similar name and very similar notes to Eau So Fresh. After comparing notes they both share green leaves, rose and musk. This is certainly comparable to Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh, it's a cheaper version so if you're on a budget or want a purse duplicate this would be the one. Plus in Boots it's only £6.66 at the moment for 50ml! It's the perfect handbag size. My bottle has been summoned to my handbag since beginning of March.

The next trio of fragrances come under the floral umbrella, just looking at them you can probably tell. I've been reaching for Korres Paeonia/Vanilla/Amber Pear EDT* lots lately. The scent is very long lasting which is always a bonus, I've learnt this is my 'breaking' into spring/summer fragrance. As I mentioned before I adore musky heady scents and this has a lovely dry down of notes which is not heady and very soft with floral middle notes. I think this clever combination is perfect, I still get my fix but it's still a soft delicate scent.

Especially Escada* contains two amazing scents, rose and ylang ylang. These work incredibly well together. A beautiful spring time scent for day time. The bottle looks so pretty and decadent with the pink perfume visible. One to show off on your dressing table.

Roger & Gallet Rose Imaginare* could easily fit into the fruity/floral department but on me I can't pick up the fruity notes just the floral notes. It's described as a water spray, I would say this is like a body mist/spray. It's light and not long-lasting like you would expect from a perfume but nonetheless it's still a beautiful scent and one which you could top up during the day. If you don't like to wear heavy scented fragrances this would be perfect, Roger & Gallet have a great selection of water sprays depending on your favourite scent.

Ending with a fruity number Eau des Bienfaits*, another body mist from Roger & Gallet. I wanted to include this one because it's a good match for Clarins Eau des Jardins. They both share fruity essential oils- Lemon, Mandarin, Orange Blossom and Blood Orange. I use this to give an uplifting feeling, great as a treatment fragrance in the morning especially after a bath/shower. I can see this being a favourite for the warmer months. If we actually get to experience some warmer months this year...

Prettying Up Your Dressing Table...

I aim each week to keep my vanity area tidy and clutter free and each week I fail miserably. However I've now discovered that by downsizing and prettying up your chosen area you can keep it reasonably tidy through the week. Over the months my tastes have changed and evolved slightly, I'm now a keen crocheter. So after reading Nouvelle Daily, a new online magazine I was inspired to blog about how I have 'prettied' my area...

A while ago I blogged about Effortless Beauty inspired by Lisa Eldridge's Video where she broke down the key products for your makeup bag. Being strong not to over indulge on certain products and having lots of replicates which fill up your bag. I store the majority of my makeup and beauty products in my Ikea Alex 9-drawer cabinet. But in the morning I don't have time to think and decide what products to use so this is where my makeup bag comes in. I have a small mini travel makeup bag which comes everywhere with me but I have a larger makeup bag which stays on my dressing table and this is what I delve into every morning, hence why it's key to keep it to a minimum. Not only for time reasons in the morning but also for good housekeeping purposes. Having a clutter free, tidy area makes such a difference.

On a Sunday I like to check through my makeup bag and decide what products I still want to use and relegate any products which no longer excite me. This has to be my biggest downfall, at the beginning of the week I can close my makeup bag but somehow throughout the week more products get added and then by Friday it's over spilling with products and is no longer functional! This is something I'm working on...

Adding your personal touch/taste to your vanity area makes such a difference plus it still makes it look like a bedroom and not part of Debenhams Beauty department. I like to store makeup brushes in old candle jars, they're also great for storing cotton buds and pads. Especially the large Neom candles, they're perfect for storing lip balms or hair ties in. Since becoming a keen crocheter I thought it would be a good chance to mix my favourite two hobbies together. Beauty & crochet, so I crocheted a jar cover. If you would like to see more lifestyle/craft posts please comment below!

I love to browse through charity shops and look for storage ideas. I picked up a couple silver trays which currently house my lip balms and perfumes in. I picked these up really cheap, so next time your searching for thrifty purchases have a look in the home section. Plus vintage tins, tea cups and saucers are another way to store items lurking around your dressing table. That way your area doesn't look cluttered.

I am a huge Neom fan and burn their candles regularly, I've recently added a Neom Organic Reed Diffuser in the fragrance Sumptuous to my dressing table. A blend of rose and neroli (orange blossom) essential oils. Presented in a frosted glass bottle with natural reed sticks. Neom use the highest quality of pure essential oils. The natural reed sticks absorb the oil and gradually diffuse the scent into your home. Like their popular Home Treatment Candles the reed diffusers also act as a treatment. This fragrance is very calming and soothing which is just what I need! Two of my favourite scents is rose and orange blossom, so this has taken pride of place amongst my dressing table 'pretties'.

How do you organise your dressing table?

Nails / The Perfect Pair...

My latest nail crush is an eye catching duo, a creamy aqua turquoise shade from the brand Headline Colors formally known as Killer Colors. The shade I have is Poolside*, a vibrant aqua shade as seen on the catwalks from Gucci and Dior. The formulation is rich and glossy, I've worn this shade alone and didn't need a top coat thanks to the glossy finish. I used 2 coats for a nice even colour. I predict this shade will be very popular this spring/summer, this shade would look fab with a tan. Roll on Summer...

I love layering glitter/speckled polishes, the newest to join the ranks is from the new limited edition OPI collection Oz The Great and Powerful. Following the speckled/glitter top coat trend I was automatically attracted to Lights Of Emerald City*. This eye catching polish is packed full of white and iridescent squared confetti pieces. I found the formula to be on the 'gloopy' side, having said that it didn't put me off. I applied a coat as normal and then added extra white squares where needed. Just means it takes a little longer but well worth it when you see the results!

Headline Colors retail at £9/ 10ml available online- HERE.

KIKO hits the UK!

KIKO is an Italian brand, they cover makeup, nail lacquers, skincare and more. They've recently launched in the UK. The price point is very reasonable and on par with most high-street prices. After browsing their online shop I noticed some products where surprisingly cheap whilst others where a little more than I expected.

I was very kindly sent a selection of their products to try. So apologies for the mass of photos, I wanted to give you peeps a good idea about the brand and their packaging. On first impressions I was won over by the eye catching packaging. Lovely bright boxes, just what you want to see at this time of year. They have a permanent makeup line as well as seasonal collections. Their newest collection being Colours in the World packaged brightly in aqua/purple or coral/pink boxes, the collection is certainly eye catching.
My top picks from the collection is the Long Lasting Lipsticks, these are without a doubt a must try! Long-lasting, moisturising and great pigmentation. I've been wearing all three shades. The next top pick is the Explosion Multi-Tone Blush, a trio of shades.

Because the compact is a generous size, with the right brush you could singularly apply these. But if like me you haven't got time I just swirl my brush over all three shades and enjoy them all. The products which I've tried have all been well pigmented, so a gentle hand is needed with the compacts. The last top pick is the Celebration Nail Lacquer, I've been wearing the beautiful creamy coral shade. Well in actual fact I've gone a little coral crazy!

If you enjoy experimenting with eye shadows and like wearing different colours I would definitely recommend you take a peak at the Colour Party Palette. A great selection of matte and shimmer shades for the spring/summer. This would be a great palette to take on holiday with you. You can use them wet or dry depending on the look you want to achieve. My only criticism is the packaging, whilst I love the look of the packaging I don't love the chunky, heavy feeling. I would love to see the packaging more slim line, hint hint...
